Mark Sheldon, a proud veteran of the United States Coast Guard, where I dedicated my early years to serving and protecting our great nation. After my time in service, I pursued my academic aspirations at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where I earned a degree in sciences with a focus on psychology. This educational foundation not only equipped me with critical thinking skills but also ignited my passion for making a meaningful impact in the lives of others.

My professional journey took a significant turn when I served as a Sheriff's Deputy in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. This role taught me the importance of community and safety, and it further fueled my desire to serve those around me. However, my entrepreneurial spirit soon led me to explore new horizons. I made a bold career move into entrepreneurship by starting a medical equipment company, specializing in durable medical equipment. For nearly a decade, I poured my heart and soul into this venture, driven by the mission to provide essential tools that empower individuals to remain independent and functional—most importantly, to stay at home where they feel most comfortable.

Throughout my 23 years in the medical equipment industry, I have had the privilege of working with thousands of patients, customizing solutions to meet their unique needs. My experience has been immensely fulfilling, and along the way, I have obtained numerous licenses and certifications that allowed me to provide specialized equipment tailored for each individual. Witnessing my clients regain their independence and improve their quality of life offered me profound satisfaction and a sense of purpose.

However, as I reflect on my journey, I realized that while I cherish the connections I've made with individuals, my passion for service has evolved. I found that I yearned to help not just one person at a time, but entire communities. This realization has led me to pivot my career once again—this time towards a path that allows me to leverage my experience and knowledge to impact a broader audience.

Now, I am excited to embark on this new chapter into a new entrepreneurial opportunity with Goose Masters - ENC, where I can focus on enriching communities and helping them thrive. My goal is to create a safe and humane program for each property to determine the safest course of action for goose removal that fosters the overall well-being of neighborhood, community, park or any other area I may be working.
