GOOSE MASTERS ENC
Goose Control Eastern North Carolina
The Crystal Coast is an impressive 85-mile coastline extending from Cape Lookout to the New River, where natural landscapes and historical landmarks converge with vibrant event venues, seafood dining, beach leisure, and various water activities such as fishing and hiking. This region features unspoiled beaches, marshes, and estuaries that serve as habitats for a variety of wildlife, including dolphins, sea turtles, and over 400 bird species.
Quaint coastal towns line the Crystal Coast, each offering its own distinct charm. Beaufort is known for its historic waterfront and rich maritime history, while Morehead City serves as a lively fishing port with a bustling waterfront and numerous seafood eateries. Atlantic Beach attracts visitors with its vibrant boardwalk and ample amenities. Inland, Greenville features a range of accommodations, including Airbnbs, hotels, and cottages, alongside homeowners' associations and condos, creating ideal environments for Canada geese and shorebirds. The area is also seeing growth in commercial developments, complemented by abundant stormwater ponds, lakes, and rivers, making it a perfect habitat for geese.
Canada geese are frequently spotted along North Carolina's Crystal Coast, drawn by the region's mild climate, plentiful waterways, and lush grasslands. During migration seasons, these birds can be seen in large flocks, although some populations have adapted to the coastal setting and choose to reside year-round.
MEET THE MANAGER, KODY
Kody was born in the same year that Kent received the Purina Herding Dog of the Year award. While traveling with Bill, he accumulated more miles than many adults today. Like his father, Kody possesses an innate talent for working with dogs, which has been evident from the beginning. He has the ability to nurture young animals, address issues with started dogs, and elevate others to a high standard, providing exceptional demonstrations for clients focused on goose control—he is essentially a younger version of Kent. His keen observational skills allow him to notice subtle details, and he excels in technology, contributing to advancements in daily operations.
With Kody's extensive experience, he and his dogs can transform your facility into an impressive showcase, free from the mess left by Canada geese.
